            2. Gua Kambing : On the route from the fishing village to the popular Long Beach is this unique dive site Gua Kambing located.
            3. Pasir Kerangi, PVC Artificial Reef : Pasir Kerangi is a manmade artificial reef constructed of many PVC pipes by the department of fishery in 1991.
            4. Pasir Tani Wreck : Pasir Tani was a landing craft used by Vietnamese boat people on their struggle across the South China Sea to Malaysia.
            5. Pulau Rawa : Rawa Island is known for its underwater boulders, swimmthroughs, small caves and black coral.
            6. Rubix Cube Reef, Fishing Trawler : The dive site Rubix Cube Reef was an artificial reefs of concrete blocks planned next to a Vietnamese fishing trawler.
            7. Sugar Wreck, MV Unistar : The 90 meter long Sugar Wreck sank during the monsoon season of 2000, 2001 and had a cargo full of sugar.
            8. Tanjung Besi : One of the most northern dive sites is Tanjung Besi with often strong currents and many pelagic roaming the reef.
            9. Terumbu Tiga, Tiger Rock : Tiger Rock is Perhentian's best known dive spot where pelagic and macro species such as the colorfull sea slugs are common.
            10. Tokong Laut : Tokong Laut is one of the most famous dive spots in the Perhentians with stunning pinnacles, abundant marine life and healthy coral to be looked at.
          2. Redang : Pulau Redang is spectacular fringe reef diving on an island with some of the whitest sand in Malaysia.
            1. Chek Isa, Mini Mount : Chek Isa is a Mini Mount where two huge coral encrusted boulders create a small canyon and an overload of fish life.
            2. Ekor Tebu : Ekor Tebu's northeast tip offers some excellent boulder diving where you can also find a small cave.
            3. Kerengga Besar : Kerengga Besar and Kerenga Kecil are two shallow islands perfect for snorkeling trips.
            4. Lima, Big Mount : At the northern side of Pulau Lima at Big Mount you can dive at a nice prolific coral shelf.
            5. Ling : Pulau Ling is said to have the largest boulders in Malaysia, boulders the size of 25 meters across known as mammoth Porites.
            6. Mak Cantik : Terumbu Mak Cantik also named Mama Reef is a wicked submerged reef with plenty coral fish.
            7. Tanjung Tokong : Tanjung Tokong is Redang's best known dive site famous for its many green turtles and hawksbill turtles.
            8. Terumbu Kili : Terumbu Kili is a rocky outcrop that appears above water excellent for snorkeling as well as diving.

          3. Tenggol : Tenggol Island is known for exhilarating wall dives dropping down into the abyss of the South China Sea.
            1. Aur Island : Pulau Aur used to be strongly linked to piracy, nowadays offering divers anything from wooden fishing trailers to Chinese wrecks from the Ming Dynasty.
              1. Captain Point : Captain Point is diving along a wall floating in the current and enjoying all that comes by.
              2. Rayner's Rock : Diving Rayner's Rock is best around its eastern side where soft and hard corals provide shelter for many small marine species.
            2. Sibu : Sibu Island is dive and fishing destination with many nice coral reefs surrounding its shores.
            3. Tioman : Tioman Island offers rugged mountainous rainforests, steep cliffs and a brilliant fauna and flora life as well above as below the water surface.
              1. Bahara Rocks : Bahara Rocks has been slightly damaged by dynamite fishing and is the only place where black coral is found easily.
              2. Chebeh Island : Chebeh Island is one of Tioman's top dive spots with rich and dense soft corals and large gorgonians.
              3. Golden Reef : It is possible to drift dive all around Sepoi Island viewing the beauty of Golden Reef somewhere halfway.
              4. House Reef : Used by novice divers and snorkelers, House Reef is a nice dive site to find more common species of fish.
              5. Labas Island : Labas Island is actually a long rocky outcrop offering many exciting underwater swimmthroughs and rock formations.
              6. Marine Park Wrecks : The Marine Park Wrecks are a collection of eight unidentified old wrecks which have been completely overgrown with coral.
              7. Renggis Island : Renggis Island sits at the west coast of Tioman Island offering sheltered dive conditions perfect for trainees and snorkelers.
              8. Soyak Island : Many submerged boulders around Soyak Island are covered in the best soft and hard corals.
              9. Tiger Reef : Tiger Reef is a famous submerged reef popular for its excellent examples of Neptune's Cup sponges or barrel sponges.
              10. Tulai Island, Fan Canyon : Fan Canyon or Tulai Island is known for its huge gorgonian sea fans and medium sized boulders.

              1. Labuan : Labuan is a duty free shopping paradise between Malaysia and Brunei also known for scuba diving at some spectacular wrecks.
                1. American Wreck, USS Salute : The American Wreck or USS Salute served its final days as a minesweeper during WWII until it struck one in 1945.
                2. Australian Wreck, SS De Klerk : The Australian Wreck or SS De Klerk was until recently believed to have been sunk by Australian air forces hence its name.
                3. Blue Water Wreck, Mabini Padre : The Mabini Padre or Blue Water Wreck was a Philippine fishing trawler that sank in the bluest waters Malaysia has to offer.
                4. Cement Wreck, MV Tung Hwang : The Cement Wreck or MV Tung Hwang was transporting cement to Brunei when it struck a sandbank and sank.
              2. Layang Layang : Layang Layang or Swallow's Reef is the name of thirteen reefs connected to each other and surrounding a deep and sheltered lagoon.
                1. Crack Reef : Crack Reef is a shallow staghorn coral garden with a nice slope becoming vertical.
                2. D'Wall : D'Wall is a sheer vertical wall going down to 40 meter and known for its leopard sharks and reef sharks.
                3. Dogtooth Lair : Dog-tooth Lair is named after the many huge dog-tooth tunas that hunt and cruise the fantastic wall.
                4. Gorgonian Forest : Gorgonian Forest is one of the best dives in Layang Layang with high chances of spotting hammerheads during April and May.
                5. Navigator Lane : Diving at the dive site Navigators Lane is stunning and often full of large and small surprises.
                6. Runway : While scuba diving the Runway you can experience seeing all that is small but huge pelagic are also very common.
                7. Shark's Cave : Sharks Cave is a drop-off with a sandy ledge where you can find many leopard sharks sleeping.
                8. Snapper Ledge : Blue lined snappers can be found in large numbers while scuba diving a dive site named Snapper Ledge.
                9. Tunnel : The Tunnel is a nice dive site with some amazing coral formations and often you will dive together with many turtles.
                10. Valley : The Valley is a fantastic muck dive searching for interesting macro species among the pieces of broken coral.
                11. Wrasse Strip : If you like health colorful coral, Wrasse Strip is the dive to make as you will find many different kind of hard and soft corals.
                12. Wreck Point : At Wreck Point you will find giant clams, sponges, hard coral but no remains of a wreck.
              3. Tiga : Pulau Tiga is one of the newest islands worldwide formed in 1897 because of a volcanic eruption and already known for some great diving.
                1. Tunku Abdul Rahman Park : Tunku Abdul Rahman Park (TARP) is a region of five islands of which Pulau Gaya is best known for scuba diving.
                  1. Mid Reef : Mid Reef is TARP's most famous dive spot with healthy coral formation and many fish feeding of it.
                2. Usukan Wrecks : The WWII wrecks Usukan Wreck, Upside-down Wreck and the Rice Bowl Wreck make up for some excelelent diving offshore Kota Kinabalu.
                1. Lankayan : Lankayan Island is muck diving at its best and one of the final places for divers to go.
                  1. Jawfish Lair : Diving Jawfish Lair is famous because of the jawfish you see here, which are huge and surprisingly numerous.
                  2. Jetty Wreck : A small wooden fishing trawler was scuttled near the jetty to encourage coral growth and marine life.
                  3. Lankayan Wreck : Lankayan Wreck used to be a Sulu Sea fishing boat that was confiscated because of its illegal activities.
                  4. Mosquito Wreck : The Mosquito Wreck was an armed barge belonging to the WWII Japanese Force.
                  5. Twin City : Two small reefs with plenty of coral blocks, marine life, black coral and gorgonian sea fans.
                1. Boheyan Island : At the border of Malaysia with the Philippines, Boheyan Island is a white jewel and one of the best diving destinations around Semporna.
                2. Church Reef : Church Reef is a huge reef that reaches the surfaces at low tide making it perfect for snorkeling as well.
                3. Gaya Island Group : The Gaya Island Group is a muck diving gem where many marine species have been reported.
                4. Kapalai Island : Kapalai used to be an island but sand erosion has leveled it making place for a first class resort built on stilts on its remaining sandbar.
                  1. Cleaning Station : Drifting from Mandarin Point to ray Channel you pass a wicked dive site named cleaning station.
                  2. Gurnard Point : Flying gurnards can be seen at dive site Gurnard Point, besides the police jetty.
                  3. Mandarin Valley : Named after its resident, Mandarin Valley is a great muck dive on top of a shallow slope.
                  4. Mantis Ground : Named after its inhabitant the mantis shrimp, Mantis Ground makes a great muck diving site.
                  5. Ray Channel : Ray Channel is sandy and a very good hiding spot for many critters.
                5. Kumai Reef : Kumai Reef offers diving at a steep western drop-off, strong currents at its north and south tip and a sloping coral reef at its east side.
                6. Ligitan Reef : Thrilling high speed drift dives are common at Ligitan Reef, at the outer shelf southeast of Semporna.
                7. Mabul Island : Muck diving destination Mabul offers divers the possibility of meeting all sorts of tropical fish from nearby.
                  1. Artificial Reef : Dive resorts at Mabul Island have carefully dropped rubble and boats to create an excellent artificial reef.
                  2. Crocodile Avenue : Crocodile Avenue offers small sandy patches with empty stretches of sand and oases of life.
                  3. Eel Garden : This dive site, a sandy patch covered in blue ribbon eels that stick their heads out, is named Eel Garden.
                  4. Froggie's : Froggie's is one of those dives where it is not possible to name all you can see while diving here.
                  5. Froggy Lair : You might be disappointed at first sight of Froggy Lair but once you look closely it is a muck diving paradise.
                  6. Sea Venture Oil Rig : Sea Venture Oil Rig sits a kilometer offshore Mabul providing a wicked underwater marine environment.
                  7. Tino's Paradise : Tino's Paradise is a wicked muck dive in the sand spotting flying gurnards, pipefish and frogfish.
                8. Mantabuan Island : Another popular island near Semporna is Pulau Mantabuan with turtles, eagle rays and coral in all shades and colors.
                  1. Black Coral Garden : Black Coral Garden offers some huge examples of very healthy black coral.
                  2. Star Point : The dive site Star Point is diving amidst strong currents, barracuda and turtles.
                  3. Stingray Alley Way : Blue-spotted ribbon and sting rays are common while diving at the Stingray Alley Way.
                9. Mataking Island : Mataking Island is a pristine white sanded island with coconut trees and a surrounding coral reef.
                  1. Coral Garden : One of the best and most relaxed third dive of the day can be the phenomenal Coral Garden.
                  2. House Reef : House Reef is a shore dive known for its many species hiding in the sand and between pieces of coral.
                  3. North Point : The northern tip of Mataking at a dive site named North Point is diving amongst huge pelagic and in strong currents.
                  4. Wreck : The Wreck is an artificial scuttled fishing boat that waits for divers of Mataking.
                10. Pandanan Island : Pandanan Island and Timba-Timba are two pristine islands connected with coral reefs and overcrowded with marine life.

                12. Roach Reef : Privately owned Roach Reef is a well protected and healthy reef far away from Semporna and often done as an overnight dive.
                13. Si-Amil : Si-Amil is a nice rain forested island with some Japanese wrecks from before World War II.
                14. Sibuan Island : Sibuan Island is a very popular island for diving and snorkeling reaches after just 30 minutes from Semporna.
                  1. Drop-off : The Drop-Off is one of the few steep walls in Sibuan, offering many fish and healthy corals.
                  2. Froggie's : Froggy's is a great muck diving destination as you never know what you might find.
                  3. Left Shoulder : Left Shoulder is one of the most diverse and stunning macro dive site in Malaysia.
                  4. Mandarin Bay : The sheltered bay Mandarin Bay is one of the best spots to see mandarin fish and other macro life.
                  5. Mandarin Point : Divers can find mandarin fish among the black sea urchins all across Mandarin Point.
                15. Sipadan Island : Sipadan Islands is a well protected island known for its healthy coral life, large numbers of turtles and big fish such as hammerheads, barracuda and trevelly.
                  1. Barracuda Point : Malaysia's most famous dive site is diving with schools of barracudas at Barracuda Point.
                  2. Coral Gardens : Coral Gardens is a dive site filled with turtles and is a very rich and colorful coral reef.
                  3. Drop Off : The Drop-off is a wicked steep wall dive site dropping down just ten meters from the beach.
                  4. Hanging Gardens : The Hanging Gardens is one of the top locations for spotting soft coral and sea fans.
                  5. Lobster Lair : Lobster Lair is diving on top of excellent healthy coral and searching for macro species including lobsters.
                  6. Mid Reef : Mid Reef named when they ran out of names located in between Turtle Patch and Whitetip Avenue.
                  7. North Point : North Point is often dived in combination with a drift dive coming from the drop-off.
                  8. South Point : South Point is the southern tip of the Sipadan reefs offering high speed currents and all that is big.
                  9. Staghorn Crest : Staghorn coral formation and huge coral heads named this shallow dive spot Staghorn Crest.
                  10. Turtle Cavern, Turtle Tomb : The Turtle Tomb is cave diving in a fantastic deep cave known because of its many turtle skeletons that unfortunately couldn't find their way home anymore.
                  11. Turtle Patch : Green and Hawksbill turtles are seen by many divers at Turtle Patch while feeding off the fabulous rich reef.
                  12. West Ridge : West Ridge is a great and rich dive site along the northwest side of Sipadan Island.
                  13. Whitetip Avenue : The wall at Whitetip Avenue is one of the best diving spots to see many white tip reef sharks.
                16. Timber Wreck : Timber Wreck was a long cargo vessel used for transporting timber to Japan.
                17. Yoshie Reef : Yoshie Reef offers excellent walls, shallow coral reefs and a wide variety of fish.
                1. Aur Tanker : The mysterious Aur Tanker has yet to be identified situated in deep waters of Pulau Aur.
                2. Gyoshin Maru, Varella Wreck : Gyoshin Maru sits upright on the ocean floor in waters of twenty meter deep perfect for all level of divers.
                3. HMS Repulse : The British HMS Repulse is a must for technical divers with battle artifacts from anti aircraft guns to five massive propellers.
                4. K17 Submarine : The Dutch submarine HMNLS K-XVII or K-17 sank when she struck a mine in December 1941.
                5. Maritime Fidelity : The Maritime Fidelity sank in a crash with the tanker named New Venture in July 1999.
                6. Nichi Asu Maru, Kuantan Wreck : The eighty meter long Japanese Nichi Asu Maru (Kuantan Wreck) is a well intact dive site resting on her port side.
                7. Nippon Maru : The Nippon Maru wrecked, together with many war artifacts, after a torpedo attack in World War II.
                8. Seven Skies : The Swedish built Seven Skies was one of the first supertankers in Asian waters.
                9. Smit Muara, Smit Lloyd : Diving the dive site Smit Muara and you will see some huge pelagic and other fish.
