Dive sites near Sipadan Island in Malaysia

Sipadan is an island in the Indo-Pacific Ocean, near the east of Sabah, Malaysia. It is the centre of one of the richest marine habitats in the world. With over 3000 species of fish and hundreds of different coral species.

Diving here is possible all year round. But, the best conditions at Sipadan Island exist from April to December, especially July and August. A decrease of visibility can be seen from January to March, because of the weather. The resorts still receive many visitors during this time and diving then is still not to be considered as bad.
